About this app

What Cardstash does

Cardstash is the free, no-account, fully offline way to scan, track, and value your trading card collection — across Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Disney Lorcana, in many languages. Open the scanner and just keep going. Point at a card, tap, and Cardstash reads it on your device and drops it into your scan tray with its estimated market value — then point at the next one. Cards stack up with a running total as you scan, and you add the whole batch to your collection at once. No daily scan limit. No scanner paywall. No subscription. Ever. WHAT YOU GET — FREE, FOREVER • Four games in one app — Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Lorcana, with a 180,000+ card database • Many languages — reads English, 日本語 (Japanese), French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Korean, Chinese and more; the collector number identifies foreign cards even when the name isn't in English • Continuous scanning — scan card after card into one tray, then add them all at once • Real-time value — every card shows an estimated value the moment it's recognized, with a live session total • Variant-aware tracking — log Normal, Reverse Holo, Holo, 1st Edition and Promo separately, with condition and quantity • Set completion — see how close you are to finishing every set, with Have / Need lists • Insights — a value-over-time chart, your most valuable cards, cost basis and gain, and high-value cards you're still missing • Free CSV / JSON export and backup PRIVATE BY DESIGN Everything stays on your device. No account, no cloud, no tracking, no ads. Your card photos never leave your phone — and your own photo is the picture of each card. HONEST ABOUT SCANNING Text recognition can't read tiny variant stamps, so Cardstash never grades from a photo and always lets you choose the variant. Prices are an estimate from a dated snapshot — always verify high-value cards yourself. Works beautifully on iPhone and iPad. Cardstash is an unofficial utility for collectors. It is not affiliated with, endorsed, sponsored, or approved by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company International, Creatures Inc., GAME FREAK Inc., Wizards of the Coast, Konami, or The Walt Disney Company. All card names, set names, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

Why it exists

The problem

Existing card scanner/tracker apps cap free scans, paywall the scanner or price history, require accounts/cloud, and silently mis-identify cards with no way to correct them.

What's different

How Cardstash stands out

Free forever with no account and fully offline; an honest confirm-first OCR scanner (name + collector number → ranked candidates you confirm) instead of a silent one-tap black box; variant-aware set completion; condition-adjusted value; and free CSV/JSON export. No official card art is bundled — the user's own scan ph…
