What Show Me Once does
The best instructions are the ones someone shows you in person. Show Me Once keeps them. Record yourself doing a task once and talk as you go: resetting the router, setting up the espresso machine, changing a bike tube, closing the shop, or an iPhone screen recording of a settings change. Show Me Once turns that one video into an interactive, step-by-step guide right on your iPhone or iPad. It transcribes your narration, finds where each step begins, picks a keyframe for every step, pulls out safety notes and a "you'll need" list, and reads on-screen labels in screen recordings. Before anything is shared, it blurs faces, email addresses, phone numbers, card numbers and names in the keyframes. Edit anything: reorder, split and merge steps, trim each clip, retake a keyframe or draw on it with Apple Pencil. Follow mode plays one step at a time with big text and a looping clip, and responds to your voice ("next", "back", "repeat") so your hands stay free. Sign off when you're done, and share the guide as a PDF, Markdown, a single web page, or a Show Me Once file that opens with AirDrop. Follow along on Apple Watch, too. Everything runs on your device. No account, no server, no analytics.
