What PesaLog does

PesaLog is a fast, private spending log built around how mobile money actually works in Kenya and East Africa. You log each transaction the way you made it: Send Money, Paybill, Buy Goods (Till), Withdraw, Airtime or Deposit, with the recipient, a category and the fee you were charged. The fee part matters. Transaction charges are easy to ignore one at a time and shocking when totalled — and whether you pay anything at all can depend on which tariff a business chose for its paybill. PesaLog gives every entry a fee field and rolls your charges up by month and by transaction type, so you can see what convenience actually costs and where switching from paybill to till (or batching withdrawals) would save real money. Then there is the daily float. Instead of a rigid monthly budget that falls apart by the 10th, you set the amount you allow yourself per day. A ring on the home screen counts it down as you log, and anything unspent rolls forward. It is the way many people already manage cash — PesaLog just keeps the arithmetic honest.
