It is not a probate-attorney replacement; it is the binder you bring to the probate-attorney's first meeting. It is the calm, structured place to track the 30+ things a personal representative must do in the first weeks, in the order most US states actually expect them. 3M people die in the US each year. Most leave estates under the small-estate threshold ($50K-$200K depending on state). Most settle through informal probate or summary administration.
