Questlog

Your table. Your adventure.

Every feature, from the first launch.

No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.

What Questlog does

Questlog is the offline tabletop RPG companion built for players and dungeon masters who want everything at their fingertips without carrying a binder, opening a browser, or paying a subscription.

Create characters with full ability scores, HP, AC, spell slots and gear. Roll any die — d4 through d20 — with animated flair and a permanent history of every result. Run combat with a clean initiative tracker that steps through turns and watches every combatant's health. Log campaign sessions with dated notes so nothing important gets forgotten between game nights.

Every byte lives on your device via SwiftData. No account. No network. No ads. Just pure, system-agnostic d20-style fun.

• Character sheets with stats, HP, AC and inventory • Animated dice roller d4–d20 with modifier stacking and roll history • Initiative and turn tracker with per-combatant HP • Campaign session notes organized by date • Fully offline, SwiftData on-device, nothing tracked

What's inside

  • Character sheets — Create and manage characters with ability scores (STR, DEX, CON, INT, WIS, CHA), calculated modifiers, HP/max HP, AC, speed, level, class, inventory list and freeform ability notes. Swipe between characters from the Home hub.
  • Animated dice roller — Tap any die face (d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, d100) to trigger a satisfying spring animation. Add a numeric modifier before rolling. Each result is appended to a scrollable history log showing expression, breakdown and timestamp.
  • Initiative and combat tracker — Add combatants by name with their initiative roll and max HP. Questlog sorts the order automatically and highlights the active turn. Tap to deal damage or heal; advance with a single swipe. Supports saving common monster groups as encounter presets (Pro).
  • Campaign session notes — Write freeform markdown-lite notes per session, tagged to a campaign name and auto-dated. Notes are searchable by keyword and campaign (Pro). Ideal for recaps, NPC names, plot hooks and loot logs.

Why we built it

Tabletop RPG players juggle physical character sheets, separate dice apps, initiative tent cards, and paper notes across every session — or pay monthly for bloated platform apps tied to a single game system that require an account and internet access.

What makes it different

Questlog is system-agnostic and fully offline — unlike D&D Beyond (account-gated, online, D&D 5e only) or Roll20 (browser-based subscription), it serves any d20-style game with a single SwiftData-powered app that owns character sheets, dice, initiative tracking and session notes in one cohesive experience with no back…

Who it's for

Built for anyone who values fast, private, on-device software with a calm, focused UX.
