Cold & sauna sessions, offline
Every feature, from the first launch.
No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.
What Coldplunge does
Coldplunge is the focused, offline tracker built for cold-plunge, sauna, and contrast-therapy enthusiasts. Start a session timer with one tap, dial in the water or room temperature, finish, and rate how you felt — that’s the whole flow. No account required, no subscription, nothing uploaded.
After each session Coldplunge saves a complete record: type (cold, sauna, or contrast), temperature in °F, duration, feeling score, date, and free-form notes. Weekly minutes and a streak counter keep you honest without gamifying recovery.
• Big glanceable timer — count-down or count-up, tappable with wet hands • Log temperature, type, feeling, and notes per session • This-week cold-exposure minutes at a glance • Current streak and session history grouped by day • Insights: weekly trends, average temp, best streak (Pro) • CSV export for coaches or personal records (Pro) • Fully offline — SwiftData, nothing tracked
Not medical advice. Always plunge safely.

What's inside
- Session timer — Large, glanceable count-down or count-up timer designed to be tappable with cold wet hands; captures elapsed duration automatically on finish.
- Session log — Structured form to record session type (cold/sauna/contrast), water or room temperature in °F, feeling score 1-5, date, and free-form notes.
- Weekly dashboard — This-week cold-exposure minutes, current streak counter, and a scrollable session history grouped by day.
- Insights (Pro) — Weekly and monthly trend charts for duration and temperature, average feeling correlation, and best-streak highlight.
Why we built it
Cold-plunge enthusiasts track sessions in their notes app, a spreadsheet, or not at all, making it impossible to spot patterns in temperature tolerance, streak consistency, or mood correlation — and the few existing apps either focus on breathwork, require an account, or bury basic logging behind a paywall.
What makes it different
A fully offline, no-account session tracker that pairs a large wet-hand-friendly timer with structured temperature and feeling logs and a weekly cold-exposure minute total — purpose-built for cold/sauna/contrast sessions rather than bolted onto a broader wellness platform.
Who it's for
Anyone who wants honest tracking without a coach, a subscription, or a streak guilting them at 11pm.
