Your apiary, inspected & logged

Every feature, from the first launch.

No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.

What Beehive does

Beehive is the calm, offline logbook every backyard beekeeper deserves. Add each hive once — name, location, install date, queen year — then record inspections in seconds: queen seen, brood pattern, temperament, stores, varroa notes, and any treatments applied. A timeline view shows exactly how each colony has changed over the season.

Log honey harvests with date and weight; Beehive tallies your season total and per-hive yield automatically. Set inspection reminders so no colony goes unchecked too long.

No internet, no account, no fees for the essentials. Your apiary diary lives entirely on your phone.

• Per-hive inspection log with brood, queen, stores, and treatment fields • Harvest tracker with season weight totals • Inspection-due reminders per hive (7 / 10 / 14-day cadence) • Apiary stats dashboard — last inspection, total harvests, queen age • Fully offline via SwiftData, zero account required

What's inside

  • Inspection log — Structured per-inspection form capturing queen seen, brood pattern score, temperament, stores level, varroa count, treatments applied, and free-form notes. Each entry stamped with date and duration.
  • Harvest tracker — Record each honey pull with date and weight in kg or lb; Beehive accumulates a running season total and shows a per-hive yield list.
  • Apiary home — Card list of all hives showing name, last-inspection date, inspection-due indicator, and this-season harvest weight at a glance.
  • Inspection reminders — Per-hive local notifications set to fire 7, 10, or 14 days after the last inspection, configurable from hive settings.

Why we built it

Backyard beekeepers record inspections on paper cards, spreadsheets, or memory, making it easy to miss treatment windows, forget what last week's queen check showed, and lose an entire season of harvest data when a notebook is misplaced.

What makes it different

A purpose-built, fully offline beekeeping logbook with structured inspection fields (queen, brood, temperament, stores, treatments) plus harvest weight tracking and per-hive inspection reminders — unlike generic note apps or web-only platforms it requires no account, no subscription for core logging, and works reliabl…

Who it's for

Hobbyists who want a tool that respects their time, their gear, and their offline life.
