Apps, deadlines & decisions
Every feature, from the first launch.
No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.
What Admitly does
Admitly is your private command center for the college application season. Add every school you're targeting — reach, match or safety — set its deadline type (EA, ED or RD), and move each one through a clear status pipeline from researching to applied to decision received.
A home screen surfaces your next deadlines and pipeline counts at a glance. Drill into any school for a per-requirement checklist — essays, recommendations, transcripts, test scores, application fees — and check tasks off as you finish them. The built-in calendar view puts all deadlines on a single timeline so nothing collides. When decisions arrive, log accepted, deferred, waitlisted or rejected and review your outcomes in one clean view.
No account. No internet. 100% offline via SwiftData — your application data never leaves your device.
• School pipeline: researching → applied → decision • EA / ED / RD deadline calendar • Per-school requirement checklists • Reach / match / safety tagging • Decision outcomes tracker • Fully offline, nothing synced or shared

What's inside
- School pipeline — Add schools tagged as reach, match or safety with deadline type and date; move each through a researching → applied → decision status pipeline.
- Deadline calendar — A monthly calendar view renders all EA, ED and RD deadlines so students see clustering and conflicts before they occur.
- Per-school checklist — Each school carries a requirement list (essays, recs, transcript, test scores, fee) with individual due dates and done toggles.
- Outcomes tracker — Log accepted, deferred, waitlisted or rejected for each school and review all decisions side by side when the cycle ends.
Why we built it
Students applying to college juggle a sprawling mix of deadlines (EA Nov 1, ED Nov 15, RD Jan 1-15), per-school requirement lists, recommender follow-ups, fee payments and portal logins across up to 20 schools — managing it all in custom Google Sheets or sticky notes that offer no reminders, no status pipeline and no…
What makes it different
A fully offline, no-account tracker that treats each school as a living project with its own checklist, deadline type and pipeline status — rather than a static spreadsheet row — giving students the same structured visibility a product manager would use, with no subscription and no data leaving the device.
Who it's for
Students, parents helping with homework, and adults who just want a fast answer without an upsell.
