What you can do in TradeHours on the web
Four-tap daily log
Date defaults to today, last category and employer are pre-selected, quick chips cover 4 / 8 / 10 / 12-hour shifts, and every entry keeps its employer so the record follows you between shops.
Progress rings per category
Logged hours against each state target, a cumulative exam-readiness ring for the whole apprenticeship, an on-pace line based on a 4-year completion and a 'behind rotation pace' flag.
Custom category schemes
Any trade, any state, any program — codes, names and target hours, with a running check that targets add up to your total.
State-switch remap

Yes. Sign in with a free All Things AI account and use every screen — no subscription, no in-app purchases.
Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.
Do I need an account?+
You can read about the app without one, but you must sign in to open it. Sign-in is free and takes a few seconds with Google.
How is the web version different from the TradeHours iPhone app?+
The report prints or saves to PDF through the browser’s print dialog instead of a share sheet; CSV export is built in. Category reordering uses up/down arrows rather than drag and drop. Your hours stay in this browser only; export a backup to keep them safe.
