Tableside privacy policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026 (version 1.6: anonymous analytics, notifications, Game Center and nearby hand-off)
The short version
- Your games, player names, scores and game history stay on your device (and in your own iCloud, if you turn on iCloud sync). We never see them.
- Anonymous product analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) tell us which features are used. No advertising identifier, no names, no typed text, not linked to you, not used for tracking or ads. You can switch it off in Settings → Privacy.
- If you allow notifications, your device registers with our own notification service only so we can deliver the notifications you chose.
- No accounts, no ads, and we never sell data.
1. What stays on your device
Tableside is an iOS app built by All Things AI, Inc. Your games, player names, scores, game history and settings are stored only on your device. If you turn on iCloud sync, they are also stored in your own iCloud account, under Apple's protections. We do not run a server that receives them, and we never see them. If you add players from Contacts, the search happens on your device and your address book is never uploaded. You can delete your data in the app or by deleting the app.
2. Anonymous product analytics
Tableside uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous product analytics, so we can see what to improve. It collects:
- which features are used, with counts and coarse buckets (never exact values);
- the app version, device model and OS version;
- a coarse location (such as country or region) that Google derives from your IP address.
It never collects the advertising identifier (IDFA), names, anything you type, or scores tied to people. This data is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking or advertising. You can switch analytics off at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy. Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
3. Notifications
Local reminders are scheduled on your device. If you allow notifications, the app registers your device with our own notification service, push.allthingsn.com, operated by All Things AI, Inc. It sends:
- the Apple Push Notification service (APNs) device token;
- the app version and build, OS version and device class;
- your language and time zone;
- your notification permission status and your topic choices (for example, "game-night reminders" on or off).
We use this only to deliver the notifications you chose. It is not linked to your identity. It is deleted when you turn notifications off or uninstall the app, and device tokens that Apple invalidates are removed. We never send marketing notifications unless you opt in.
4. Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, Tableside uses Apple's Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center is operated by Apple and governed by Apple's privacy policy. We receive nothing beyond what Apple shows on the leaderboards.
5. Handing a game to a nearby phone
You can hand a running game to a nearby phone over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (Apple's MultipeerConnectivity). Tableside uses Apple's Nearby Interaction to find the closest phone. The game goes directly from device to device and never passes through our servers.
6. Feedback
If you email feedback to support@allthingsn.com, we use your message and email address only to reply to you.
7. What we do not do
- No accounts or sign-in.
- No ads.
- We do not sell your data.
8. Children
Tableside is rated 4+ on the App Store but is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Terms of use
Your use of Tableside is governed by our Terms of Use and, as an App Store app, by Apple's Standard License Agreement (EULA).
