About this app

What SprayLog does

Every commercial pesticide application you make is a legal record waiting to be requested. Federal rules require certified commercial applicators to keep restricted-use application records for two years and hand a copy to the customer within 30 days — and most states extend that to every commercial application, adding wind, temperature, and site details on top. SprayLog replaces the clipboard sheet in your truck with a record you can actually defend at an audit. SprayLog is built for lawn care, tree care, and ornamental turf applicators — not row-crop farmers. No field grids, acreage maps, or crop rotations. Your world is customer properties: fifteen residential stops a day, each with its own lawn, beds, and trees. So SprayLog starts with reusable customer sites. Set up a property once with its address, treated areas, and site type, and every future visit is two taps from a complete record. Your product cabinet stores every chemical you carry — EPA registration number, active ingredient, signal word, restricted-use status, re-entry interval, and your default rate — so you never re-type a reg number on a tailgate again. When you log an application, the tank-mix calculator does the math you redo on a phone calculator ten times a day: enter your rate and carrier volume and SprayLog computes exactly how much product goes in the tank, line by line, for multi-product mixes. Conditions capture is one screen: wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and sky, recorded at the time of application — the fields state inspectors ask about first. Applicator name, license number, target pest, and equipment carry over from your last entry. When the job is done, generate a clean per-visit customer copy as a PDF and send it before you leave the driveway — twenty-nine days early. When the state audit letter arrives, export every application in any date range as a single organized report. Two years of records, searchable in seconds, stored entirely on your device. No account, no per-seat monthly fee, no cloud. • Reusable customer and site profiles built for lawn and tree work • Product cabinet with EPA reg numbers, signal words, and REI • Tank-mix calculator: rate times carrier volume, computed per product • One-screen wind, temperature, and sky condition capture • Per-visit customer-copy PDF, ready in seconds • Date-range audit export for state inspections • Compliance dashboard tracking 30-day customer-copy deadlines • Works fully offline, records stay on your device

Features

Built to be useful, not noisy.

Application Log

The core record: date, site, applicator and license number, target pest, area treated, equipment, mix lines, and conditions — every federal field plus the common state extras, entered in under a minute from the truck cab with carry-over from the last entry.

Customer Sites

Reusable customer property profiles — address, site type (residential lawn, commercial turf, tree/PHC, ornamental beds), treated area, and per-site application history — because a lawn tech treats properties, not fields.

Product Cabinet

Every product you carry stored once: EPA registration number, active ingredient, signal word, formulation, restricted-use flag, re-entry interval, and default rate, so records auto-fill instead of being re-typed on a tailgate.

Tank Mix Calculator

Enter rate and carrier volume; SprayLog computes the exact product amount per mix line for multi-product tanks, and saves the result as a reusable preset for tomorrow's identical route.

Compliance Exports

One-tap per-visit customer-copy PDF (share it before leaving the driveway) and a date-range audit report covering the full two-year retention window — the milk crate of carbon sheets, replaced.

Compliance Dashboard

At-a-glance status: applications whose 30-day customer-copy deadline is approaching, records nearing the retention boundary, license expiry, and season totals by product.

Why it exists

The problem

Commercial applicators are legally required to record every application (product, EPA reg number, rate, site, date, and in most states wind/temp) and furnish customer copies within 30 days — but they meet this with illegible clipboard carbon sheets, because every existing app is built for row-crop farms, not customer…

What's different

How SprayLog stands out

The incumbent apps model farms, not service routes: Pesticide and Field Records II (abandoned since 2018, 3.7 stars) uses an acreage/crop data model with a reviewer-confirmed map bug and no tank-mix math; Farm Spray Pro is row-crop/dicamba-focused; GorillaDesk, FieldRoutes, and Jobber bundle chemical logging only insi…
