What Sofa collects
Sofa is an Android app built by All Things AI, Inc. Everything you enter into the app — TV names, IP addresses, room labels, and connection settings — stays on your device. We do not run a server that sees, stores, or processes your data.
Anonymous usage analytics
Sofa uses Firebase Analytics (Google) to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics — for example which screens and features are used, session counts, and feature engagement. The purpose is to understand product usage so we can decide what to improve, not to identify you. Specifically:
- No advertising identifier (IDFA or Android Advertising ID) is used, and there is no tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
- No user accounts or user IDs — events are not linked to your identity.
- Your content never leaves the device: TV names, IP addresses, room labels, and connection settings are never uploaded.
- Any numeric usage data is sent only as coarse buckets, never precise values; free text is never sent.
Apart from these anonymous statistics, we do not advertise inside the app, sell data, or require an account, email, or sign-in.
In-app purchases
Sofa is free with all features included. There is no in-app purchase, subscription, or paid tier — we don't run any payment infrastructure for this app.
Children
Sofa is not directed at children under 13, in line with the app's age rating on the Google Play.
