What SinkJar does
SinkJar is the offline iPhone app for smoothing out the lumpy bills that wreck your budget — Christmas, car registration, insurance renewals, vet visits, property tax. No subscription. No bank link. No account. The sinking-fund method is decades old and works. YNAB does it, but charges $109 a year (a 118% price hike since 2014). Goodbudget caps the free tier at 10 envelopes. EveryDollar's free tier doesn't auto-allocate. SinkJar costs $9.99 once and never touches your bank. What SinkJar does: — Unlimited jars. Christmas, summer camp, brake job, every cat's vet checkup. Add as many as you want. — Calendar-aware auto-targets. Tell it 'I need $1,200 by December 1' and it computes 'put $52 per week starting this Friday.' Adjusts as you hit milestones. — Per-jar deposit history with Swift Charts trajectory line. See whether you're on track or behind. — Payday EventKit reminders: pings you on your payday to deposit to the jars that need it most. — CSV export. Drop everything into Numbers or Excel for your year-end review. Manual deposits — tap +$50 when you actually move the money in your real bank. No Plaid, no read-only credentials, no consent screens. SinkJar's job is the math, the calendar, the reminder. Your bank is your bank.
