Every voice tuner on the App Store can tell you your pitch. Almost none of them can tell you the thing clinicians say matters most: resonance — whether your voice reads bright and forward or dark and chest-weighted. Two people can hit the exact same note and sound completely different, and that difference is resonance. Resonate is the first trainer built to coach both at once. Open the app and you see your voice, not just hear it. A live 2D map plots pitch running up and down and resonance running dark to bright. A glowing dot shows exactly where your voice is sitting right now, sliding around the map in real time as you speak or hum. Pick a target zone — Feminine, Masculine, Androgynous, or a Custom band you set yourself — and the box lights up teal the moment you land inside it. You can literally watch yourself shape a voice that fits you. Under the hood, Resonate runs real signal processing on-device: fundamental frequency by autocorrelation, and vocal-tract formants (F1/F2) estimated by LPC and collapsed into a single brightness value. There is no cloud, no account, and no recording — your voice is analyzed live on your phone and never saved or sent anywhere. That privacy matters enormously to the people who need this most. Guided drills turn practice into a game you can actually follow. Trace a pitch glide up and back down. Hold a steady hum inside the zone. Run the classic 'big dog / small dog' resonance drill to move brightness left and right while keeping pitch level. A resonance siren to move both together. Each drill draws a dotted path across the map and scores your time-in-zone when the timer ends. Progress turns weeks of practice into something you can see: a time-in-zone trend line, your best sessions, and a range map where every session lands as a dot so you can watch the cluster drift toward your target over time.
