About this app
What DockLedger does
DockLedger replaces the paper registers at a goods depot — the incoming vehicle register, the unload memo pad, the discrepancy mail chain and the gate-out book — with one offline app a yard supervisor can run from a phone. Log every truck from gate-in to gate-out: vehicle number, transporter, DO number, origin plant, tonnage. Allocate a dock, a supervisor and a labour gang in seconds. Build the unload memo digitally, line by line, exactly like the printed inspection form — item description, received quantity, old/damaged count, totals for bags, loose tubes and flaps, and who unloaded, re-checked and inspected. When the memo doesn't match the invoice, raise an issue on the spot: shortage, damage, interchange or dirty/old stock. Each issue carries its owning department, moves through Open → Reported → Follow-up → Closed, and never gets lost in a mail thread again. Then the part every depot in-charge asks for: one report, daily or monthly, of what is pending and what is closed — ready to share as clean text from the share sheet in one tap. A loading-plan register tracks outbound plans too: plan number, destination, vehicle length and load factor, from plan to dispatch. • Gate-in to gate-out truck log with dock, supervisor and labour allocation • Digital unload memo matching the classic inspection report form • Shortage / damage / interchange / dirty-stock issue register with status workflow • Daily and monthly pending-vs-closed reports, shareable in one tap • Outbound loading-plan register: plan no., destination, vehicle ft, load factor • 100% offline, on-device SwiftData — no account, no internet, no subscription

Why it exists
The problem
A goods depot receives trucks from multiple plants daily. The incoming register, supervisor/dock allocation, unload memo, shortage-damage-interchange reporting and gate-out log all live on paper; discrepancies are scribbled on a photocopy, mailed to the computer department and chased by memory. Management's explicit a…
