How it's calculated

  1. Each player's total is the sum of their scores in every round. Negative scores are fine; leave a cell empty for a round someone sat out.
  2. The leader is the highest total, or the lowest if you turn on "Low score wins" for games such as Hearts, where the player with the lowest score at the end wins (Bicycle Cards' rules).
  3. Ties are shown as ties.
  4. The sheet saves to this browser after every change, so a refresh or a closed tab doesn't lose the game.

Worked example

Ana scores 12 and 8, Ben 9 and 14, Cleo 15 and 6. Totals: Ana 20, Ben 23, Cleo 21, so Ben leads. With Low score wins on, Ana leads with 20.

Questions

How many players can I add?

As many as you like. On a phone the sheet scrolls sideways after about four players.

Can I keep the result?

Press Save to keep the final scores in the list on this device. The full Tableside app keeps a history of every game with friends.

Does it know the rules of my game?

No. It adds up whatever you type, which is why it works for any game.

Will it work on a plane?

Yes. Once the page has loaded it needs no connection.
