Every feature, from the first launch.
No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.
What Zakatly does
Zakatly is a calm, private tool that helps Muslims organise their annual zakat calculation in one place — no spreadsheets, no paper scraps, no WhatsApp messages to family asking what counts.
Add zakatable assets — cash, gold grams, silver, business inventory, trade receivables — then subtract eligible liabilities. Zakatly applies the 2.5% rate against your chosen nisab threshold and shows a clear breakdown. Adjust the gold or silver rate at any time; the total recalculates instantly.
When you give, log each payment with the cause and a note. The home screen always shows this year's amount due alongside how much you have paid and what remains. Every past year is saved so you can review your history at Ramadan or any time.
Zakatly is an informational calculation aid. It does not issue religious rulings — always consult a qualified scholar for your specific situation.
• Asset list: cash, gold, silver, business inventory, receivables • Liability deduction and net zakatable wealth summary • Editable nisab threshold (gold or silver basis) • Payment log with cause, date and notes • Year-by-year history of due and paid amounts • 100% offline — SwiftData on-device, no account ever

What's inside
- Asset & liability ledger — Add named assets by type (cash, gold grams, silver, business inventory, receivables) and subtract liabilities; net zakatable wealth recalculates instantly.
- Zakat breakdown — Shows net wealth vs nisab threshold, whether zakat is due, and the 2.5% amount with per-category subtotals; nisab and metal rates are fully editable.
- Payment tracker — Log each zakat payment with date, amount, cause and optional note; home screen shows due vs paid vs remaining for the current hawl year.
- Year history — Archived summary of every past hawl year showing total due and total paid, giving a long-term record of zakat fulfillment.
Why we built it
Most Muslims calculate zakat once a year using a charity organisation's single-page web calculator that has no memory, no liability deduction, and no payment tracking. The rest rely on paper or a personal spreadsheet that resets each year, making it hard to carry forward asset notes, verify past hawl dates, or see how…
What makes it different
A persistent, fully offline zakat ledger that stores assets, liabilities and payment history across years — unlike one-shot web calculators (Islamic Relief, UNHCR) it remembers your numbers; unlike general giving-tracker apps (Sidq) it focuses entirely on the structured asset-minus-liability zakat computation with an…
Who it's for
Freelancers, contractors, and small-business owners who want their numbers right at tax time without renting a SaaS to do it.
