What Fairway does

Fairway is the no-nonsense golf round journal built for players who want honest stats without GPS subscriptions, cloud accounts, or constant upsell pop-ups.

For each hole you record strokes, putts, whether you hit the fairway, and whether you hit the green in regulation. Fairway turns that raw data into the four stats every improving golfer actually needs: average score vs. par, putts per round, fairway-in-regulation %, and greens-in-regulation %. Spot the trend — too many three-putts? Crooked drives? — and know exactly where to practice.

Build a course library once and reuse it every time. Rounds are stored offline in SwiftData — nothing ever leaves your phone.

What's inside

• Scorecard Entry — Hole-by-hole input of strokes, putts, fairway hit (yes/no), and green in regulation (yes/no) with par shown per hole from the saved course.
• Round Summary — After the final hole, see gross score, total putts, FIR count, and GIR count for the completed round alongside a per-hole breakdown.
• Stats Dashboard — Trend charts and rolling averages for avg score vs. par, putts per round, fairway-in-regulation %, and greens-in-regulation % across all logged rounds.
• Course Library — Create and reuse courses with a name, total par, and per-hole par. Pulled up instantly at the start of each round — no network lookup.

Why we built it

Popular golf apps (18Birdies, Hole19, Arccos) bombard users with subscription upsells, account creation walls, and GPS features that drain phone batteries and add complexity. Casual golfers end up falling back to paper scorecards and mental notes, then lose their history and can never identify where their game is leak…
