What Pupclass does

The first sixteen weeks with a puppy are a blur of potty trips, crate naps, training sessions and a socialization clock that's quietly running out. Pupclass turns that blur into one calm logbook: what your puppy can do, who and what she's met, when she last went out, and what the trainer asked you to practice this week.

Commands aren't just done or not done. Pupclass tracks each cue — sit, stay, down, recall, leave it, or any you add — through honest mastery stages: learning, reliable at home, reliable with distractions, proofed anywhere. Log a thirty-second session after dinner and watch the bars move. The socialization checklist is organized by age window, so at 10 weeks you know exactly which exposures still matter most, and you record whether your puppy was relaxed, unsure or worried — because a checkmark alone doesn't tell you anything.

The potty and crate log is built for the hardest stretch: two-tap entries for pees, poops, accidents and crate time, a daily timeline that makes the pattern obvious, and a running clean streak that tells you when it's safe to stretch the interval. And when puppy class ends each week, the class notes screen holds the homework so Thursday's advice doesn't evaporate by Saturday.

Pupclass is 100% offline. No account, no sign-up, no cloud — everything is stored on your phone with SwiftData, and your puppy's data never leaves your device. It's also completely free: no subscription, no locked lessons, no trial that turns into a charge.

• Command tracker with four mastery stages and session logging • Socialization checklist grouped by age window, with reaction ratings • Potty + crate timeline, accident log and clean-streak counter • Weekly class notes with homework checklists • Works fully offline — no account, nothing synced • Free, with every feature unlocked

Bring your puppy home, then download Pupclass — the next sixteen weeks only happen once.

What's inside

  • Command progress — A home dashboard plus a command list (sit, stay, down, recall, leave it, custom cues) where each command advances through four mastery stages — learning, reliable at home, reliable with distractions, proofed — with quick session logging that records duration, location and success.
  • Socialization checklist — Pre-seeded exposures (people types, dogs, sounds, surfaces, handling, environments) grouped into age windows (8-10, 10-12, 12-16, 16+ weeks); each exposure is logged with a reaction rating of relaxed, unsure or worried, and a progress ring shows window completion before it closes.
  • Potty & crate log — Two-tap logging of pees, poops, accidents and crate sessions onto a single daily timeline, with a clean-streak counter and average-interval readout that tells owners when to stretch the schedule.
  • Class notes — One note per class session with trainer name, topics covered, free-form notes and a homework checklist whose items can be ticked off during the week between classes.

Why we built it

A new puppy generates four simultaneous tracking jobs — command progress, time-boxed socialization exposures before ~16 weeks, potty/crate timing, and trainer homework — and no single offline tool holds them; owners use PDF checklists from trainers, kitchen-counter notepads and subscription training apps that paywall…

What makes it different

Unlike Pottytime (toddler potty training with stickers and streaks for kids), Catbox (multi-cat household care) and Horsekeep (barn-style horse husbandry), Pupclass is built around the puppy-specific clock: command mastery stages, an age-windowed socialization checklist that expires at ~16 weeks, and puppy-class homew…
