Every feature, from the first launch.
No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.
What Pondlog does
Pondlog is the offline pond-farm logbook built for smallholder fish and shrimp farmers across Southeast and South Asia. Add each pond once — name, area, species, stocked count and date — then keep daily records in seconds: feed quantity and type, a quick water check (pH, dissolved oxygen, note), and any mortality to flag. When harvest day comes, enter the weight sold and price per kilogram and Pondlog shows your gross income against total feed cost.
No sensors required, no subscription, no internet. Everything runs on SwiftData, on your phone, in the field.
• Per-pond stocking records with species and cycle start date • Daily feed log: kilograms, feed type, one-tap entry • Water-quality checks: pH, dissolved oxygen, free-text note • Mortality counter per pond per day • Harvest entry with weight, price and instant profit summary • Pond timeline view showing cycle progress and charts • 100% offline, SwiftData on-device, no account ever

What's inside
- Pond & Cycle Setup — Create a pond with name, area in sqm, species, stocked count and stocking date to begin a grow cycle.
- Daily Feed Log — Quick-entry sheet for feed kilograms and feed type, stamped to the current pond and date.
- Water Quality Check — Log pH, dissolved oxygen and a free-text note per pond per day; view history on pond detail.
- Mortality & Harvest — Tap-to-log daily mortality count; at cycle end record harvest weight and price per kg to see gross profit vs. feed spend.
Why we built it
Smallholder pond farmers in SE/South Asia track feed usage, water checks and mortality on paper notebooks, scraps of paper, or informal WhatsApp messages. Records are incomplete or lost, feed costs go unrecorded, and at harvest there is no way to calculate profit or identify which management practices produced the bes…
What makes it different
A fully offline, no-subscription aquaculture logbook that pairs stocking-to-harvest cycle tracking with instant profit math at harvest — unlike IoT-heavy platforms (iQShrimp, Jala, MegaAqua) that require sensors, cloud accounts, or connectivity, Pondlog works without any hardware or internet, making it viable for the…
Who it's for
Operations leaders and small teams who want a tool in their workflow without buying another platform.
