What PillPath does
PillPath is a medication tracker built for the Sandwich Generation — adults caring for both their own family and aging parents at the same time.
Apple's built-in Health app handles your own medications beautifully, but the moment you try to manage your father's blood pressure pills from across the country, you hit a wall: Apple Health is single-user. Medisafe and MyTherapy will let you add another person — but only if you subscribe. PillPath solves that one specific problem and nothing else.
— Track multiple people: Mom, Dad, parents-in-law, grandparent. Unlimited. — Each person has their own meds, dosages, doctors, and pharmacy. — Smart digest at 9am tells you 'Dad's 8am pills are unconfirmed' instead of 50 individual alarms. — Doctor-visit PDF: every med, dosage, last 30 days of adherence — ready to print or AirDrop to your sibling. — Side-effect log: jot a quick note when something seems off so you have a record. — Vital signs log: blood pressure, glucose, weight — for the visit prep.
For the 50% of 40-to-59-year-olds caring for both kids and aging parents, PillPath is the calm, private, one-time-purchase tool that finally treats you as the user — not the patient.

What's in it
- Multi-patient roster — Add unlimited people you care for. Each is a full profile with avatar, date-of-birth, conditions, doctors, pharmacy, allergies. Switch between them with a top tab. Mom is the default, but you can swipe to Dad, in-laws, grandparent.
- Medication list per patient — Add a medication: name, dosage, schedule (daily, twice-daily, every-N-hours, as-needed), prescribing doctor, pharmacy, refill date, notes. Reorder by drag. Visual pill color/shape picker for easy at-a-glance identification.
- Smart digest notifications — Instead of an alarm for every pill, PillPath sends one calm digest at the times you choose (e.g., 9am, 5pm, 9pm). 'Dad's morning meds (3 pills) — unconfirmed since 9am.' Tap to mark all taken. Reduces anxiety vs nag-style competitors.
- Doctor-visit PDF export — One-tap export of the past 30/60/90 days for any patient: every medication with dosage and schedule, adherence percentage per med, list of recorded side effects, vital signs trend. AirDrop to a sibling, email to the doctor, or print for the appointment.
- Vital signs + symptom log — Blood pressure, blood glucose, weight, mood, notable symptoms. Stored against the patient. Showed up on the PDF and on the patient's home view as a 7-day trend strip.
Why we built it
Apple Health is single-user — you cannot track another person's medications. The leading alternatives (Medisafe, MyTherapy) paywall multi-patient profiles behind subscriptions ($35-72/yr) and require email accounts. The Sandwich Generation needs to know whether Dad took his 9am blood pressure pill while they're at wor…
What makes it different
PillPath is the only medication tracker that is (a) one-time $9.99 purchase (vs Medisafe Premium $35/yr, MyTherapy Premium $72/yr), (b) caregiver-first — designed to manage another person's meds, not your own, (c) multi-patient by default, no paywall, (d) uses Apple's CloudKit Family Sync — no third-party servers, no…
Who it's for
Sandwich-generation caregivers, adult children of aging parents, and anyone keeping track of medications for more than one person.
In one line: Manage your parents' meds, together.
