What Pawmark does

Pawmark is a joyful adventure log for your dog. Not vet records. Not weight charts. Not another health-tracker. A keepsake.

Log every adventure in three taps — the hike, the brewery patio, the friend's-house weekend, the road trip — with date, location, photos, and notes. A pawprint stamps onto the timeline with a satisfying haptic. Watch the years pile up.

What ships in v1:

— Pet profile: name, species (dog primary, cat / other welcome), breed (autocomplete from bundled AKC list), birthday (approximate OK), gotcha day, profile photo. — Adventure timeline: a beautiful vertical feed of every adventure. Hero photo, type, location, date, notes. — Add Adventure flow: three steps — what kind, when + where (auto-suggests current location), photos + notes + optional companions from Contacts. — Pawprint stamp animation: a satisfying haptic moment every time you log. — Bucket list: ~80 curated dog adventures across nature, urban, social, milestone, travel, training categories. Local-to-you surfaces dog-friendly metros via your location. — Map: every adventure on the country with pawprint pins and clustering. — Milestones: birthdays, gotcha-day anniversaries, 10th / 25th / 50th / 100th adventures, first-time-of-each-type. All auto-detected, celebrated. — Stats: total adventures, longest streak, top type, most-visited place, miles walked (from HealthKit if you allow it). — Annual recap video: every December, generate a 60-90 second vertical movie of your dog's year — top photos, key milestones, stat overlays, royalty-free music. Export to Photos / share to Stories. — Multi-pet: tap the pet name to switch between dogs. — CloudKit Family Sharing: spouse or partner can co-own a pet's log. — Memorial mode: when a pet passes, convert their log into a keepsake. Silences notifications, locks the timeline, unlocks a lifetime recap. Reversible for 30 days. Designed with the most careful copy in the app. — Privacy by default: no account, no email, no analytics SDK, no third-party tracker, no server. What's inside

Pet profile — Name, species, breed (autocomplete from bundled AKC list), birthday (approximate OK), gotcha day, profile photo. Set up in under 2 minutes.
Adventure timeline — Vertical feed of every adventure. Hero photo, type chip, location chip, date, note preview. Most recent first. Multi-pet households get a segmented filter at the top.
Add Adventure (3-step) — Step 1: What kind? (visual grid of 11 types) → Step 2: When + where (date, location via MKLocalSearch, optional distance from HealthKit workout) → Step 3: Photos + notes + optional companions from Contacts. Submit triggers the pawprint stamp animation.
Pawprint stamp animation — On every adventure log: a paw-shaped stamp drops onto the timeline with a heavy UIImpactFeedbackGenerator haptic and an ink-spread effect. ~1.2 sec. Brand moment.
Bucket list — ~80 curated dog adventures across nature, urban, social, milestone, travel, training. Local-to-you surfaces dog-friendly metros via location. Mark Done creates an Adventure. Universal-Link deep-links to Stampr for park-adjacent items.

The pet-app vertical is dominated by health-records apps (Pawprint, 11Pets, MyPet). None capture the JOY side — adventures, bucket list, milestones, the annual recap to send to grandma.
