What Pichanga does
Every week it's the same ritual: someone books the cancha, the group chat fills with '¿quién juega?', two captains pick teams that end up lopsided, and at the end somebody chases everyone for their share of the field fee. Pichanga is the organizer's pocket tool that turns that weekly chaos into three minutes of taps — built for the fulbito, futbolito and fútbol rápido crews of Latin America, in a World Cup year when everyone suddenly wants to play again.
Set up your squad once with names, preferred positions and a private 1–5 skill rating. Each game night, mark players in, out or maybe as the chat replies come in — the headcount banner tells you instantly whether you've got your 10, 12 or 14. When everyone's confirmed, one tap on the shuffle deals two balanced sides using a snake draft over your skill ratings, so the teams are fair even when the usual captains aren't around.
After the final whistle, log who scored and crown the night's MVP. Enter the cancha rental and Pichanga splits it evenly across the players who actually showed, with a paid/unpaid checkmark per person so nobody 'forgets' twice. Over the season, a leaderboard stacks up goals, MVP nights and attendance — the receipts for every asado argument.
Pichanga is completely free and works 100% offline. No account, no sign-up, no internet required — your squad, ratings and match history live in local storage on your phone and never leave it.
• Squad book: positions + private skill ratings • In / out / maybe roster for every game night • Live headcount — see how many you still need • One-tap fair team shuffle (snake draft by skill) • Cancha fee split with per-player paid checkmarks • Goals, MVP and attendance season leaderboard • Free, offline, no accounts — ever
Download Pichanga and have next week's game armada before the group chat even wakes up.

What's inside
- Squad book — Add players once with name, preferred position (arco, defensa, medio, delantero) and a private 1–5 skill rating; edit or retire players as the crew evolves.
- Game night roster — Create a game with date, cancha name and target player count, then flip each squad member to in, out or maybe; a headcount banner shows confirmed vs. needed at a glance.
- Fair team shuffle — One tap deals the confirmed players into two balanced teams using a snake draft over skill ratings, keeping goalkeepers split; re-shuffle or manually swap any two players before locking the sides.
- Fee split & match log — Enter the cancha rental to get an even per-player share with paid/unpaid checkmarks, then log goals and pick the MVP; a season leaderboard ranks goals, MVP nights and attendance.
Why we built it
Weekly pickup football in Latin America runs on a chaotic WhatsApp thread: the organizer manually counts who's in among 40 messages, captains pick visibly unfair teams, the cancha fee gets fronted by one person who then has to nag five friends for their share, and nobody remembers who scored or who was MVP — there is…
What makes it different
Unlike marketplace apps like GoodRec or OpenSports that match strangers into paid public games (and get slammed for overbooked sessions and arbitrary skill levels), Pichanga is a private, offline tool for one fixed friend group's recurring game. Within the portfolio: Crease is a ball-by-ball cricket scorebook for reco…
Who it's for
