Strength log & PR tracker, offline

Every feature, from the first launch.

No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.

What Ironlog does

Ironlog is a fast, no-nonsense strength-training logbook built around progressive overload. Start a workout, log each set in a tap or two, and Ironlog shows your last performance on that lift so you always know the weight or reps to beat. It tracks every personal record automatically — heaviest set, estimated one-rep max, best volume — and a built-in plate calculator tells you exactly which plates to load on the bar.

No account. No subscription. No social feed. Just your training history, on your phone, forever.

• One-tap set logging with last-session reference • Automatic PRs: top set, estimated 1RM, volume • Plate calculator for any bar and target weight • Reusable workout templates (Push/Pull/Legs, 5x5, your own) • Lift history and trend per exercise • Fully offline and private

What's inside

  • Set logging — Log sets (weight x reps) per exercise during a live workout, with previous-session values shown.
  • PR tracking — Auto-detect heaviest set, estimated 1RM (Epley), and best volume per exercise.
  • Plate calculator — Given bar weight and target, compute the plate stack per side.
  • Templates & history — Reusable workout templates and a dated history of completed sessions.

Why we built it

Lifters need to remember last session's numbers to progress, but paper logs are slow and the popular gym apps push subscriptions, accounts, and bloated social features; many people fall back to a clumsy Notes app or spreadsheet.

What makes it different

A focused, offline strength log with automatic PR detection, estimated 1RM, and a built-in plate calculator and reusable templates — no subscription, no account, no social feed, unlike Strong/Hevy which gate history or features behind a paywall and cloud sync. Distinct from Form Coach (live form cues), which doesn't l…
