What Filterfresh does

Filterfresh is a quiet, private appliance-filter tracker for every household filter you own — HEPA air purifiers, HVAC vents, reverse-osmosis stages, fridge water cartridges, and vacuum pre-filters.

Add each appliance once: give it a room, a type, and as many filter slots as it has. Record the exact model number, physical size, purchase note and expected life in months. Filterfresh starts the clock the moment you install a filter and shows you a live percentage-life bar so you can see at a glance what is fine, what is aging, and what is overdue.

When a filter is replaced, the Replace sheet resets the countdown and logs the swap date to a full history so you always know when the last change happened. A push reminder fires at your chosen interval — no more relying on a fridge light that is easy to dismiss or a calendar note buried in the wrong month.

What's inside

Home dashboard — Sorted list of all filter slots with color-coded life bars (green/yellow/red) and a due/overdue badge. Overdue slots float to the top.
Appliance & filter management — Add appliances by room and type; add filter slots with model number, size note, life months, install date, price note, and buy note. Edit any field at any time.
One-tap replacement — Replace sheet records the swap date and optional note, resets the countdown clock, and appends an entry to the slot's replacement history.
History view — Per-slot chronological log of every past replacement with date and notes, useful for warranty claims and recurring purchase planning.

Why we built it

Households with multiple filters (HEPA purifiers, HVAC, RO stages, fridge cartridges) lose track of install dates and exact model/size specs, leading to filters run well past their rated life.
