Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.

How is the web version different from the Shotbox: Screenshot Finder iPhone app?+
The iPhone app reads your real screenshots with Apple's Vision OCR and understands them with Natural Language sentence embeddings. A browser has neither, so on the web you paste the text of a screenshot and the meaning half of the ranking comes from Shotbox's own concept map instead of a neural embedding. There is no image here — each screenshot is re-drawn from its recognized text as a phone-screen card, so there is nothing to zoom into. Everything is stored in this browser only: clearing site data erases it, and it does not sync to another browser or device. Export a backup to keep it.
