Every room shows its wall color as a real swatch with the hex and paint count, so you recognize a room by its color, not a filename.
Walls, ceiling, trim and accent per room
Each room holds as many paints as it needs, grouped by surface with its own brand, code, finish, store and prep notes.
One-tap color-code copy
Copy 'SW 7036' or the full paint spec from the room banner, the paint card or the detail screen and paste it straight into a retailer's search.
A 35-color fan-deck library

Is the web version of Paintkeep free?+
Yes. Sign in with a free All Things AI account and use every screen — no subscription, no in-app purchases.
Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.
Do I need an account?+
You can read about the app without one, but you must sign in to open it. Sign-in is free and takes a few seconds with Google.
How is the web version different from the Paintkeep iPhone app?+
The iPhone app can copy a code to the system clipboard from a context menu anywhere; on the web copying uses the browser clipboard, which some browsers only allow after you tap the button. Hex swatches are on-screen approximations of a printed chip — always confirm against a real sample before buying paint. There is no camera color-picker: you type or paste the hex, or pick a color from the built-in fan-deck library. Data lives in this browser only — there is no iCloud sync between your phone and this tab, so use Export backup to move it.
