What you can do in Paintkeep on the web
Swatch grid of the whole house
Every room shows its wall color as a real swatch with the hex and paint count, so you recognize a room by its color, not a filename.
Walls, ceiling, trim and accent per room
Each room holds as many paints as it needs, grouped by surface with its own brand, code, finish, store and prep notes.
One-tap color-code copy
Copy 'SW 7036' or the full paint spec from the room banner, the paint card or the detail screen and paste it straight into a retailer's search.
A 35-color fan-deck library
Alabaster, Hale Navy, Repose Gray, Mizzle and more from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Behr, Farrow & Ball, Valspar, Glidden and Pratt & Lambert — search it, copy a code, or log it into a room in two taps.
Touch-up readiness and repaint watch
The home screen counts how many rooms have a code you could hand over today, and flags rooms painted longer ago than your repaint window.
Finish guide and CSV export
What flat, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss and gloss are actually for — plus a one-tap CSV of every room and paint for a contractor, a mover or the next owner.

Is the web version of Paintkeep free?+
Yes. Every screen is free to use: no subscription, no in-app purchases, no account.
Do I need an account?+
No. Open Paintkeep and start using it right away. Sign in with Google only if you want to upvote an app, save it to your list, or leave a comment.
Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.
Is there a Paintkeep app for iPhone or Android?+
Not yet. Paintkeep is a community proposal: the browser version is complete, and we build the iPhone and Android app once 100 people upvote it. Upvoters get one email when it ships.
