What you can do in Lyricpad on the web

1

Idea Inbox

Drop a raw lyric, hook or rhyme in seconds with a tag and a live syllable count, then search and filter the whole pile by tag.

2

Songs with labelled sections

Intro, verse, chorus, hook, bridge and outro blocks you can reorder, each one showing the syllable count of every single line plus the section total.

3

Live syllable counter

The same vowel-cluster estimator the iPhone app ships, per line and per section, so matching lines actually land on the same bar.

4

Hook Vault

Flick a switch on any idea and your strongest lines live apart from the noise — searchable, tagged, never buried under a hundred drafts.

5

Offline rhyme helper

A bundled phonetic word list answers instantly from the idea screen, the section editor or its own tab — no network request, no latency, no ads.

6

Idea to song in two taps

Send any inbox line straight into a chosen section of a chosen song, and watch that song's line, word and syllable totals move.

Questions

Is the web version of Lyricpad free?+

Yes. Sign in with a free All Things AI account and use every screen — no subscription, no in-app purchases.

Where is my data stored?+

Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.

Do I need an account?+

You can read about the app without one, but you must sign in to open it. Sign-in is free and takes a few seconds with Google.

How is the web version different from the Lyricpad iPhone app?+

The rhyme helper matches the last three letters against a bundled list of 300-odd words, so it finds near and perfect rhymes for common endings but is not a full pronouncing dictionary. Syllable counts are a vowel-cluster estimate — a guide for keeping lines even, not a metrical authority. Sections reorder with arrow buttons rather than the iPhone's drag handles, and drafts stay in this browser with no sync.
