Lapcount
Log the swim, get the pace — a watch-free pool logbook in your browser
Enter pool length, laps and time and Lapcount works out your distance and pace per 100 instantly, tracks the week against your yardage goal, flags every personal best, and charts twelve weeks of volume. Yards or metres, free, no account, no watch needed.
Stored in your browser only. Nothing you do in the web version is sent to our servers. Clear your browser data and it's gone — so export a backup from the in-app menu if you want to keep it.

What you can do in Lapcount on the web
Poolside entry that takes seconds
Pick a pool (25y, 33y, 50y, 25m, 50m or your own), step the laps and the minutes, and the distance, time and pace update live above the form before you save.
Pace per 100, done for you
Time ÷ distance × 100 — a 1,800 yard swim in 52:30 comes back as 2:55 per 100, and metre pools convert at 1.09361 yards so every pace is comparable.
Weekly goal on a lane bar
A pool-lane progress bar on the home screen shows the week's distance against your target, with quick 5k / 10k / 25k presets and a slider up to 50,000.
Personal bests, flagged automatically
Fastest pace, longest distance and longest time in the water, plus the best pace in each of the six strokes and a list of every swim that broke a record when you logged it.
Twelve weeks of trends
Volume per week as bars, pace per 100 over time as a line, a stroke-mix donut and a breakdown of the pools you actually swim in.
Yours to take away
Export every swim as CSV with yards and metres side by side, or the whole log as a JSON backup — nothing is ever sent anywhere.

Questions
Is the web version of Lapcount free?+
Yes. Sign in with a free All Things AI account and use every screen — no subscription, no in-app purchases.
Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.
Do I need an account?+
You can read about the app without one, but you must sign in to open it. Sign-in is free and takes a few seconds with Google.
How is the web version different from the Lapcount iPhone app?+
There is no watch or auto-detection on the web (there is none in the iPhone app either) — you enter laps and time yourself, which is the whole point. Data lives in this browser only: no iCloud, no sync between phone and laptop. Export a JSON backup to move it. Distances are stored in yards and converted for display, so a metre-pool figure can differ by a yard from a pure-metric log.
