Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.

How is the web version different from the Firstyear iPhone app?+
No photo per milestone — the iPhone app attaches a picture of the moment; the web version keeps the date and your written note. The keepsake downloads as a formatted HTML page you print or save as PDF, rather than the iPhone app’s one-tap PDF share sheet. No iCloud backup. Everything lives in this browser only — export a JSON backup before you clear site data or switch browsers. Percentiles are read off the bundled WHO 3rd/15th/50th/85th/97th tables and shown as “near the 50th” — an estimate for your own notes, not a clinical measurement.
