Earsharp
Five ear-training drills. No login, no streaks, no invite prompts.
Intervals ascending, descending and harmonic; chords struck harmonically, not arpeggiated; modes and pentatonics; melodic dictation on a keyboard; rhythm clap-back graded to the millisecond. Every tone synthesised in your browser, free.
Stored in your browser only. Nothing you do in the web version is sent to our servers. Clear your browser data and it's gone — so export a backup from the in-app menu if you want to keep it.

What you can do in Earsharp on the web
Interval drill, all twelve
Beginner, intermediate or all 12 intervals, played ascending, descending or as a real harmonic dyad — both notes on the same tick.
Chords played harmonically
Triads, 7ths and sus chords sounded together rather than arpeggiated, because identifying a stacked chord is the whole point.
Scales and modes
Major, natural / harmonic / melodic minor, all five remaining modes and both pentatonics — eleven scale kinds, banked so you can start small.
Melodic dictation and rhythm clap-back
Hear a 3–8 note phrase and tap it back on a two-octave keyboard, or hear an eight-slot rhythm and tap it back — graded TIGHT / OFF / WRONG with your average deviation in milliseconds.
Randomisation that actually works
Every question you miss gains 0.75 weight and comes round sooner; every one you nail decays it again. Switch the weighting off if you want flat random.
Honest counters, nothing else
Today and lifetime right-out-of-attempted per drill, a fourteen-day answer chart and a list of the questions you keep missing. No streak, no badge, no leaderboard.

Questions
Is the web version of Earsharp free?+
Yes. Sign in with a free All Things AI account and use every screen — no subscription, no in-app purchases.
Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.
Do I need an account?+
You can read about the app without one, but you must sign in to open it. Sign-in is free and takes a few seconds with Google.
How is the web version different from the Earsharp iPhone app?+
The iPhone app can grade a real clap through the microphone; on the web the rhythm drill is graded from the tap pad only. Tones are Web Audio oscillators rather than the iPhone's AVAudioEngine voices, so the timbre is plainer. Your answers are stored in this browser only — there is no sync between devices.
