A big glove-friendly counter for today's basket with minus and plus, a note field, and backfill for any morning you missed.
True cost per egg and per dozen
Operating spend divided by every egg collected, shown side by side with the dozen price at your grocery store — and the exact amount you save (or lose) per egg.
Break-even tracker with an honest payoff date
Coop kit, run fencing and feeders sit in a Startup category that stays out of cost per egg and instead drives a progress bar and a projected break-even date from your last 90 days' pace.
Hen roster and per-hen productivity
Every hen with breed, hatch date and status — Laying, Molting, Broody or Retired — and her fair share of the flock's last four weeks, from a list of ten common backyard breeds.
Feed and expense ledger
Feed, bedding, grit and supplements, repairs, startup and other, grouped by month with running month and lifetime totals and a category donut.
Recurring coop chores

Yes. Every screen is free to use: no subscription, no in-app purchases, no account.
Do I need an account?+
No. Open Eggonomics and start using it right away. Sign in with Google only if you want to upvote an app, save it to your list, or leave a comment.
Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.
Is there a Eggonomics app for iPhone or Android?+
Not yet. Eggonomics is a community proposal: the browser version is complete, and we build the iPhone and Android app once 100 people upvote it. Upvoters get one email when it ships.
