CleanRoom
Size a smoke-safe room with EPA CADR math — in any browser
Enter a room's square footage and ceiling height, add the purifiers and DIY box-fan builds you own, and get an instant undersized / adequate / strong verdict at 4–5 air changes per hour. Log the day's AQI and every filter's countdown speeds up on smoke days. Free, no install.

What you can do in CleanRoom on the web
EPA room sizing, done for you
Required smoke CADR equals the room's square footage; delivered ACH is (CADR × 60) ÷ room volume, graded against the EPA wildfire target of 4–5 air changes per hour.
Purifiers and DIY box-fan builds
Six real presets — Coway AP-1512HH, Levoit Core 300, Winix 5500-2, Blueair Blue 211+, box fan + MERV-13 and the Corsi-Rosenthal cube — or type in any unit's rated CADR and media life.
Exposure-accelerated filter life
Filters wear ×0.3 on a clear day, ×1 at moderate, ×2 for sensitive groups, ×3.5 unhealthy, ×5 very unhealthy and ×7 hazardous — so a smoke week can spend months of media.
Daily AQI log and burndown
Log the outdoor AQI on a colour-banded slider; the trend chart, the wear multiplier and every device's burndown line update together.
The six-step smoke playbook
Seal the room, block the gaps, run filtration on high, recirculate HVAC on MERV-13, keep it cool, re-check after it clears — each with the full detail and quick tips, tickable as you go.
Unlimited rooms, all unlocked
Bedroom, nursery, office, living room — every room keeps its own devices, verdict and notes, and exports as JSON or a CSV of the AQI log.

Questions
Is the web version of CleanRoom free?+
Yes. Sign in with a free All Things AI account and use every screen — no subscription, no in-app purchases.
Where is my data stored?+
Only in this browser's local storage. Nothing you enter is sent to our servers, so we can't see it, back it up, or restore it. Clearing site data, a private window, or another device starts empty. Export a backup from the in-app menu to keep it.
Do I need an account?+
You can read about the app without one, but you must sign in to open it. Sign-in is free and takes a few seconds with Google.
How is the web version different from the CleanRoom iPhone app?+
The iPhone app can be opened instantly during an event with no browser and no tab to find; this version needs the page open. No push reminders to log the AQI or swap a filter — the web version only updates when you open it. There is no live AQI feed here or on iPhone: you type the day's number yourself from AirNow or your local agency. Rooms, devices and the AQI log live in this browser only, so a different browser or device starts empty — export the JSON backup to move it.
