Your watch collection, cared for

Every feature, from the first launch.

No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.

What Watchwind does

Watchwind is the quiet companion for watch enthusiasts who want more than a spreadsheet. Catalog every timepiece — brand, reference number, movement type, power reserve, purchase date and personal notes — then let Watchwind remind you which automatics are sitting idle and probably stopped, so you always reach for a running watch.

Build a complete service history for each piece: log regulation, cleaning, overhaul and repair visits with date, cost and notes. A stats view surfaces your total collection value, most-serviced watches, and which pieces haven’t been worn in months.

No subscription. No internet. No account required. Everything is stored with SwiftData on your device.

• Catalog watches with movement type, power reserve and full details • Home screen flags automatics that need winding or wearing • Complete service and regulation log per watch • Collection stats: value, wear frequency, service cadence • 100% offline, SwiftData, nothing leaves your phone

What's inside

  • Collection catalog — Add watches with brand, reference, movement (automatic/manual/quartz), power reserve in hours, purchase date, purchase price and free-text notes. Swipe to archive or delete.
  • Needs-winding indicator — Home screen surfaces any automatic whose calculated power reserve has likely elapsed based on last-worn date, prompting the owner to wind or wear it.
  • Service log — Per-watch timeline of service events (overhaul, regulation, cleaning, repair) with date, technician, cost and notes. Tap any entry to edit.
  • Stats view — Collection overview: total watches, estimated collection value, average service age per watch, and a most-worn ranking to surface neglected pieces.

Why we built it

Watch collectors manage service records and winding schedules in spreadsheets, notes apps, or from memory. There is no dedicated offline-first iOS app that pairs a collection catalog with service logging and a live power-reserve tracker to flag unworn automatics.

What makes it different

Watchwind is the only iOS app that combines a full watch catalog, per-watch service history, and a power-reserve-aware winding reminder in a single 100% offline, no-subscription package — without requiring trademarks or brand partnerships, and without locking core features behind a paywall.

Who it's for

Hobbyists who want a tool that respects their time, their gear, and their offline life.
