Baby care log, offline & private

Every feature, from the first launch.

No account, no login, no cloud. Everything runs on your device and works fully offline — nothing in this post is hidden behind a wall.

What Nestling does

Nestling is the calm, beautiful daily care log for exhausted new parents. Log a breastfeeding session with a live left/right timer, record a bottle in ounces, note a diaper change with a single tap, and start a sleep session the moment your baby closes their eyes. Everything lands in a clean chronological timeline so you always know what happened and when — even at 4 a.m. on no sleep.

Three at-a-glance cards on the Home screen always show your last feed, last diaper, and last sleep — the three numbers every new parent is constantly asked. No hunting, no math.

No account. No subscription required for core logging. No internet ever needed. Your baby’s health data is intimate, so it lives only on your device.

• One-tap breast timer with left/right sides • Bottle log with oz amount • Diaper log — wet, dirty, or both • Sleep session timer with total-today counter • Today timeline: feeds, diapers, sleep in order • History and daily insights (counts per day) • Multiple baby profiles • 100% offline, SwiftData on-device

What's inside

  • At-a-glance Home — Three persistent cards always display the time elapsed since the last feed, last diaper, and last sleep, plus a scrollable today timeline of all logged events and quick-add buttons to start a new log instantly.
  • Feed Logger — Sheet for logging breastfeeding (live left/right side timer, switchable mid-session) or a bottle (oz picker). Saves a FeedEvent with type, side/amount, start time, and duration.
  • Diaper & Sleep Loggers — One-tap diaper sheet (wet / dirty / both) and a sleep sheet with start/stop timer. Both add events to the today timeline immediately on save.
  • History & Insights — Scrollable full history grouped by day, plus an Insights screen showing bar charts for feeds per day, diaper counts, and total sleep hours — the numbers a pediatrician asks about at every well-baby visit.

Why we built it

New parents must track feeds, diapers, and sleep to answer their pediatrician’s questions and gauge their newborn’s health, but existing apps are either cluttered subscription platforms, pumping-specific, or require an account and cloud sync, creating privacy concerns and unnecessary friction when parents are most sle…

What makes it different

A single-purpose, 100% offline whole-baby daily log that puts last-feed, last-diaper, and last-sleep front-and-center on a single Home screen, with a live breast timer and a clean chronological timeline — no cloud, no account, no paywall on core logging. Unlike Huckleberry or Baby Tracker (subscription, cloud-backed),…
