What Flashpoint does
Flashpoint is the offline hot-flash and trigger correlator for women in perimenopause and menopause — the 50 million Americans (and 1 billion globally) navigating night sweats, day flashes, and the maddening question of what set them off.
The menopause-app market is exploding ($1.5B → $4.2B by 2032) but the leaders share user data. A 2026 Digital Health study found 32% of menopause apps share data with third parties. Balance's App Store reviews complain there's 'no way to download all entered data.' Clue Plus paywalls trigger correlations at $40/year. Stella is only available through your employer.
Flashpoint does the thing they all paywall, and it does it on the phone:
— Quick flash log. Tap once for a day flash, tap-and-hold for a night sweat. Severity 0-5. Three seconds. — Trigger logger. Caffeine, alcohol, spicy food, stress, sleep <6h, room temp, time-since-last-HRT. Tag what's true today. — On-device correlation. After 14 days of data, an on-device CoreML tabular regressor surfaces 'your top 3 triggers this week.' No cloud. — Heatmap by hour. See whether your flashes cluster at 3am, after lunch, or post-workout. — Body-temp integration. Read HealthKit body temp (Apple Watch wrist temp); never write anywhere external. — Optional CSV export for your gynecologist. AirDrop or share via the system share sheet. No account, no email signup.
No subscription. No employer paywall. No data leaving the phone.

Why we built it
Women in peri/menopause log hot flashes in apps that share their data with third parties, can't export raw data, and paywall the trigger-correlation reports they actually want — the actionable insight is 'your top 3 triggers' which Clue charges $40/yr to compute.
What makes it different
Flashpoint is the only hot-flash tracker that runs an on-device CoreML correlation engine to surface your top 3 triggers weekly (caffeine, alcohol, sleep deficit, room temp, time-since-HRT), reads HealthKit body temperature without ever writing data off-device, and exports raw CSV — Balance paywalls reports and has no…
